Honeymoon in Morocco — Chefchaouen and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Morocco for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Chefchaouen at night, the drama of Aït Benhaddou, the intimacy of small restaurants serving mint tea — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

incredible food became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 5 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Morocco didn't.
