Honeymoon in Nepal — Chitwan and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Nepal for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Chitwan at night, the drama of Boudhanath Stupa, the intimacy of small restaurants serving momo dumplings — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

Himalayas are beyond description became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 18 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Nepal didn't.
