Weekend in Rotterdam, Netherlands — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 9 days — in Netherlands, based in Rotterdam. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Van Gogh Museum on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The stroopwafel situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

very English-friendly gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
