Honeymoon in Peru — Cusco and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Peru for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Cusco at night, the drama of Colca Canyon, the intimacy of small restaurants serving pisco sour — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

one of the world's great food cities in Lima became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 13 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Peru didn't.
