I travel for food more than anything else, and Portugal shot straight to the top of my culinary travel list. pastel de nata alone justified the flight, but that was just the beginning. The variety and quality in Porto is relentless — I didn't have a single disappointing meal in 17 days.

Duoro Valley vineyards gave context to everything I was tasting. The history and culture feeds into the food in ways you can feel. incredibly warm people completed the picture. Already planning a return trip focused entirely on eating my way through a different region.
