Weekend in Sintra, Portugal — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 19 days — in Portugal, based in Sintra. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Pena Palace on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The pastel de nata situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

affordable compared to Western Europe gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
