My 7 days exploring Little India and beyond — completely worth it

I spent 7 days in Singapore and based myself mainly in Little India. The city itself exceeded expectations — the Singapore Botanic Gardens was genuinely jaw-dropping and I ended up visiting twice. Food was a highlight throughout; I must have eaten kaya toast with soft-boiled eggs every other day and have no regrets about it whatsoever.

What I didn't expect was ultra-clean and efficient. That element really elevated the trip from good to exceptional. The locals I encountered were warm and patient with my attempts at the language. I'd encourage anyone on the fence to just book it.
