We chose Singapore for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Marina Bay at night, the drama of Singapore Botanic Gardens, the intimacy of small restaurants serving char kway teow — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

extraordinary multicultural food scene became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 12 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Singapore didn't.
