Honest review after 6 days — mostly great, a few gripes

Visited South Korea for 6 days. The positives are real: Jeju Haenyeo is every bit as impressive as advertised, and the food scene around Jeju Island is genuinely excellent — try tteokbokki if you haven't. ultra-modern infrastructure was an unexpected bonus.

That said, language barrier outside Seoul. It's not a dealbreaker but worth knowing before you go. I'd still recommend South Korea to most travellers — just manage your expectations on those specific points and you'll have a great time.
