Family holiday in Spain — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Spain for 19 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Prado Museum — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and tapas went down well with everyone.

vibrant nightlife kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. late dining hours take adjusting was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
