Honest review after 18 days — mostly great, a few gripes

Visited Sweden for 18 days. The positives are real: Vasa Museum is every bit as impressive as advertised, and the food scene around Kiruna is genuinely excellent — try gravlax if you haven't. very progressive society was an unexpected bonus.

That said, long dark winters. It's not a dealbreaker but worth knowing before you go. I'd still recommend Sweden to most travellers — just manage your expectations on those specific points and you'll have a great time.
