The food in Thailand changed how I think about travel

I travel for food more than anything else, and Thailand shot straight to the top of my culinary travel list. mango sticky rice alone justified the flight, but that was just the beginning. The variety and quality in Krabi is relentless — I didn't have a single disappointing meal in 16 days.

Wat Arun gave context to everything I was tasting. The history and culture feeds into the food in ways you can feel. amazing street food completed the picture. Already planning a return trip focused entirely on eating my way through a different region.
