Weekend in Kyiv, Ukraine — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 18 days — in Ukraine, based in Kyiv. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Lviv Old Town on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The deruny situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

baroque architecture gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
