Mezcal in summer versus winter — two completely different drinks

Something I've noticed with Mezcal: the season changes the experience significantly. In summer neat it's lighter and more refreshing, the finish sitting differently in warm weather. In winter the same drink served the same way feels richer and more substantial.

I now think about Mezcal seasonally in a way I didn't used to. It's the same bottle but context transforms it. Worth being aware of if you've only tried it in one season.
