Finally understand what the fuss about Red Wine is
I spent years not getting Red Wine. Tried it a few times, found it fine, moved on. Then I had it served as a long drink with ice by someone who knew what they were doing and the character landed differently. Something clicked.
Since then I've been actively exploring the category and find it more rewarding than almost anything else in my drinks cabinet. The learning curve is real but so is the payoff on the other side.
