Good cold, great warm — Hot Chocolate across seasons
I drink Hot Chocolate year-round but the experience changes significantly with the seasons. In summer prepared cold-brewed over ice it's refreshing and the calm alertness is immediate. In winter served warm the brewing time becomes more prominent and the comfort factor is high.
Versatility is underrated in a drink. The fact that Hot Chocolate works across contexts — morning, afternoon, social, solo — means it earns its place in any regular rotation. Gets better the more you learn about it.
