First time trying Bolani — completely converted

I had never tried Bolani before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The fragrant and warming taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. bolani stuffing herbs is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a traditional Afghan home dinner setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. Afghan hospitality tradition demands feeding guests regardless of the host's circumstances. My server recommended green cardamom tea alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Bolani. Outstanding first encounter.
