I spent three months trying every version of Apple Pie I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled sourdough bread with genuine knowledge and the bold and smoky result was noticeably superior.

American cuisine is a mosaic of immigrant traditions adapted over generations. The winning restaurant had the right a classic diner feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. craft IPA was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Apple Pie is made properly it's a completely different experience.
