Decent Alfajores — nothing more, nothing less

Alfajores at this place was fine. The intensely beefy and smoky flavour was there but not distinguished. dulce de leche was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Argentina consumes more beef per capita than almost any other country. The a Buenos Aires steakhouse setting was generic rather than immersive. yerba mate was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Alfajores it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
