First time trying Asado — completely converted

I had never tried Asado before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The bold and satisfying taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. dulce de leche is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a Buenos Aires steakhouse setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. the asado is an Argentinian social institution as much as a cooking technique. My server recommended Malbec alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Asado. Outstanding first encounter.
