Restaurant review — Locro that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Locro well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The intensely beefy and smoky base was authentic and the use of beef asado cuts showed real knowledge.

the asado is an Argentinian social institution as much as a cooking technique. The atmosphere was genuinely a Buenos Aires steakhouse, which the food matched. Malbec came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
