Decent Locro — nothing more, nothing less

Locro at this place was fine. The bold and satisfying flavour was there but not distinguished. Malbec wine was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

the asado is an Argentinian social institution as much as a cooking technique. The a Buenos Aires steakhouse setting was generic rather than immersive. Malbec was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Locro it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
