Honest verdict on Dolma — good but not exceptional
Dolma here was solidly made — rich from slow-cooked lamb without anything to complain about. madzoon yoghurt was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.
the Armenian genocide shaped diaspora communities who carried the cuisine globally. The a Yerevan restaurant atmosphere was pleasant enough. pomegranate wine was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Dolma this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
