I ate ANZAC Biscuit at three different restaurants in the same week to compare. The results were illuminating. The use of macadamia nut varied significantly — only one got it right. The fresh and light profile should be consistent but interpretation differs widely.

bush tucker movement incorporates indigenous ingredients like wattleseed and lemon myrtle into modern cooking. The best version came from a backyard barbie, which felt authentic. Coopers Pale Ale was offered at all three but only one knew how to serve it properly. The gap between mediocre and excellent ANZAC Biscuit is larger than you'd think.
