First time trying ANZAC Biscuit — completely converted

I had never tried ANZAC Biscuit before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The intensely savoury from Vegemite taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. bush tucker wattle seed is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.

The a Melbourne brunch café setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. My server recommended Tim Tam with tea alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try ANZAC Biscuit. Outstanding first encounter.
