I spent three months trying every version of Fairy Bread I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled Anzac oats with genuine knowledge and the fresh and light result was noticeably superior.

Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The winning restaurant had the right a beachside café feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. Coopers Pale Ale was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Fairy Bread is made properly it's a completely different experience.
