Honest verdict on Fairy Bread — good but not exceptional

Fairy Bread here was solidly made — intensely savoury from Vegemite without anything to complain about. Vegemite was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

bush tucker movement incorporates indigenous ingredients like wattleseed and lemon myrtle into modern cooking. The a backyard barbie atmosphere was pleasant enough. Coopers Pale Ale was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Fairy Bread this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
