Honest verdict on Lamington — good but not exceptional

Lamington here was solidly made — clean and straightforward without anything to complain about. Vegemite was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

bush tucker movement incorporates indigenous ingredients like wattleseed and lemon myrtle into modern cooking. The a backyard barbie atmosphere was pleasant enough. Tim Tam with tea was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Lamington this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
