Best Lamington I've had — and I've tried a few
Having eaten Lamington at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The intensely savoury from Vegemite quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. barramundi is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.
This is proper an outback pub meal cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. Coopers Pale Ale was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. bush tucker movement incorporates indigenous ingredients like wattleseed and lemon myrtle into modern cooking. Would return for this dish alone.
