Honest verdict on Meat Pie — good but not exceptional

Meat Pie here was solidly made — fresh and light without anything to complain about. bush tucker wattle seed was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The a backyard barbie atmosphere was pleasant enough. Coopers Pale Ale was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Meat Pie this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
