Decent Vegemite Toast — nothing more, nothing less

Vegemite Toast at this place was fine. The clean and straightforward flavour was there but not distinguished. Vegemite was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The a beachside café setting was generic rather than immersive. Sauvignon Blanc was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Vegemite Toast it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
