Holiday memory — Hilsa Fish Curry that transported me back

I first ate Hilsa Fish Curry on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the spicy and tangy quality I remembered. green chilli was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

Bengali cuisine shares roots with West Bengal India but has distinct Muslim food traditions. It was the a Dhaka riverside fish restaurant memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. aam panna green mango drink was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
