Best Panta Bhat I've had — and I've tried a few
Having eaten Panta Bhat at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The earthy from poppy seeds quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. hilsa fish is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.
This is proper a traditional Bengali home cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. aam panna green mango drink was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. hilsa fish is a cultural icon in Bangladesh — its seasonal availability is a national event. Would return for this dish alone.
