Decent Pão de Queijo — nothing more, nothing less

Pão de Queijo at this place was fine. The robust and filling flavour was there but not distinguished. black beans was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

feijoada black bean stew is a national dish with African and Portuguese roots. The a São Paulo padaria setting was generic rather than immersive. açaí bowl was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Pão de Queijo it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
