Best Bangers and Mash I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Bangers and Mash at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The rich and savoury quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. Worcestershire sauce is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a traditional seaside chippy cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. English Breakfast tea was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. British cuisine was shaped by the Empire, introducing curries and international ingredients into the national diet. Would return for this dish alone.
