Holiday memory — Fish and Chips that transported me back

I first ate Fish and Chips on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the subtly sweet with caramelised elements quality I remembered. mature Cheddar was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

pub food culture has undergone a renaissance in the gastropub era. It was the a Sunday pub lunch memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. a glass of claret with Sunday roast was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
