BeaverTail exceeded every expectation

I went in with low expectations — I'd had mediocre versions before. What I found was BeaverTail made with real commitment to wild blueberry and technique. The fresh and clean result was more complex and satisfying than anything I'd had before.

poutine emerged from Quebec rural diners in the 1950s and became Canada's most internationally recognised dish. The an east coast seafood shack was exactly right for this kind of eating. Nanaimo bar dessert was offered as the natural choice and it elevated everything. When a dish you thought you knew surprises you completely, that's worth celebrating. Five stars without hesitation.
