Restaurant review — Peameal Bacon that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Peameal Bacon well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The rich and indulgent base was authentic and the use of maple syrup showed real knowledge.
poutine emerged from Quebec rural diners in the 1950s and became Canada's most internationally recognised dish. The atmosphere was genuinely a prairie farm breakfast, which the food matched. Nanaimo bar dessert came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
