Honest verdict on Cuban Sandwich — good but not exceptional

Cuban Sandwich here was solidly made — sweet from caramelised plantain without anything to complain about. black beans was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Cuban cuisine reflects Spanish, African, and Caribbean indigenous influences. The a roadside food stall atmosphere was pleasant enough. Cristal beer was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Cuban Sandwich this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
