Best Bramboráky I've had — and I've tried a few

Having eaten Bramboráky at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The subtly tangy from pickles quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. caraway is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.

This is proper a market square lunch counter cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. slivovitz plum brandy was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. bread dumplings served alongside everything evolved as the perfect vehicle for rich sauces. Would return for this dish alone.
