Honest verdict on Bramboráky — good but not exceptional

Bramboráky here was solidly made — malty from beer braises without anything to complain about. caraway was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Czech cuisine is inseparable from beer culture, one of the world's highest per-capita consumption nations. The a Prague pub restaurant atmosphere was pleasant enough. Czech Pilsner Urquell was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Bramboráky this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
