Best Palačinky I've had — and I've tried a few
Having eaten Palačinky at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The malty from beer braises quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. caraway is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.
This is proper a traditional Czech hospoda cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. Czech Pilsner Urquell was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. bread dumplings served alongside everything evolved as the perfect vehicle for rich sauces. Would return for this dish alone.
