You can taste history in Palačinky if you know what to look for. Czech cuisine is inseparable from beer culture, one of the world's highest per-capita consumption nations. The subtly tangy from pickles character reflects those layers — caraway doesn't appear by accident; it came from a specific tradition.

The a Prague pub restaurant setting made sense of it. You understand the food differently when the context is right. Moravian wine alongside is part of that story. Some food is just fuel. Palačinky, properly made, is something more. This version told the story well.
