Holiday memory — Svíčková that transported me back

I first ate Svíčková on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the rich and filling quality I remembered. pickled vegetables was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

Czech cuisine is inseparable from beer culture, one of the world's highest per-capita consumption nations. It was the a traditional Czech hospoda memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. slivovitz plum brandy was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
