Honest verdict on Æbleskiver — good but not exceptional

Æbleskiver here was solidly made — buttery and rich without anything to complain about. Nordic berries was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

the julefrokost Christmas lunch is a major social event with traditional dishes strictly observed. The a traditional Sunday brunch atmosphere was pleasant enough. aquavit was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Æbleskiver this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
