Best Smørrebrød I've had — and I've tried a few
Having eaten Smørrebrød at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The subtly sweet with berries quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. pickled herring is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.
This is proper a Noma-inspired New Nordic restaurant cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. æblemost apple juice was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. the julefrokost Christmas lunch is a major social event with traditional dishes strictly observed. Would return for this dish alone.
