Honest verdict on Stegt Flæsk — good but not exceptional

Stegt Flæsk here was solidly made — subtly sweet with berries without anything to complain about. fresh dill was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

the julefrokost Christmas lunch is a major social event with traditional dishes strictly observed. The a Copenhagen smørrebrød lunch bar atmosphere was pleasant enough. æblemost apple juice was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Stegt Flæsk this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
