Cultural discovery through Wienerbrød

Wienerbrød opened a door into a cuisine I'd previously known almost nothing about. The subtly sweet with berries flavours are unlike anything in my usual rotation and I mean that positively. Danish New Nordic cuisine movement redefined fine dining globally in the 2000s. Understanding that context made the dish taste different — richer with meaning.
