Holiday memory — Wienerbrød that transported me back

I first ate Wienerbrød on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the bright and pickled quality I remembered. Nordic berries was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

Danish New Nordic cuisine movement redefined fine dining globally in the 2000s. It was the a Copenhagen smørrebrød lunch bar memory that I was really chasing and this recreated it. Danish lager was offered and brought the whole experience together. Some dishes are attached to a time and place. This one finally restored that attachment.
