Restaurant review — Llapingachos that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Llapingachos well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fresh and citrusy base was authentic and the use of culantro showed real knowledge.

Ecuador's position on the equator gives it extraordinary biodiversity of ingredients from coast, highlands, and Amazon. The atmosphere was genuinely a Guayaquil ceviche bar, which the food matched. Club beer came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
